One of the most intense and rewarding parts of product creation involves the manufacturing process. With 30+ trips to partner factories, totaling over 50 weeks and thousands of hours, I have overseen manufacturing for countless footwear projects throughout the past decade. I work directly with creative teams and Factory GM’s/Partners - with particular emphasis on maintaining clear communication, expectations and attention to detail.
I’ve developed a deep understanding of sweetness optimization, sku efficiency, profitability, sourcing direction, costing strategies, strategic thinking, technical performance and overall quality and development innovations.
Factory partners are a key part of the process and together with my creative team - taking time to make sure all the details line up is worth the effort - forging long-term strategies and partnerships and increasing the efficiency and cohesiveness of Development, Design, Marketing and Brand Operations.
